I have been going to London for the day about once per week this past month for training, but in the future I'll go there about once a month for business, which I think is cool. I had spoken with people here who would say, " Oh, I have to go to London tomorrow...", now I get to say it!
We have a nice long weekend and I'm trying to get the harley ready for it's inspection tomorrow. We're still settling in and I still have work to do in the garage as well as helping Rhonda organize all our other storage. We've got a trip to Paris planned for next month, we'll take a train from London and spend 3 nights there, in the Louvre district.
On a darker note, most of you already know that my grandmother passed this week, she was 91 years old. She went peacefully in her sleep and her suffering was kept to a minimum, for which we are grateful. She had a long and happy life, and although I'll miss her, I'm thankful for all the wonderful years she was there for us. I'm really glad she didn't have to suffer and that we got a chance to visit her last Thanksgiving, and that she and Rhonda got to meet before we left. She was very bright and active then, and thought that Rhonda was really sweet.
Love the pic of your new home. Now what I would love to see is a picture of you and Rhonda standing in front of it-ha never satisfied am I?
Hope all is going well there. Did everything fit in the rooms? Did you get your wardrobes for your clothes and get your bedroom closet finished yet? How does your dog like his new territory? Cats happy? Did you go to Turkey yet? How are you getting along Rhonda? Are you and your new friend tramping around the countryside and city? Drop me a line. Just got back from Austin, Texas. What a time all of them have had since Brock got sick, but hopefully he will improve a bit each day. He wouldn't let me hold him or read to him or play with him. The prednisone makes him tired and he doesn't feel good and can't tell you what bothers him. Zane is sweet, cooing, smiling and sleeps well. Steve moved his office close to home-it is about 10 minutes away. Very handy. It is cold here--in the 70's Monday and in the 30's today-Yeech!!!!
Phil and Rhonda,
Phil, we are very sorry to learn of your grandmother's death. I know its hard to be away at times like this. But cherish every memory you have of her. The house is lovely, and it sounds like a heavenly place to live. Best to you both, and the furry friends too. All goes well here.
