Rhonda's new Merc

Rhonda's new (pre-owned) car...

Well, we've been here just over a year and Rhonda has been a real trooper about not having transportation of her own - other than her scooter, of course. We'd looked a bit but had decided to wait, until I went in to get my truck MOT'd this year and saw this pretty girl. Rhonda is manual transmissionally challenged, so we had to find an automatic, which this is. I wanted something reliable... something I didn't have to fix or pay to have fixed. It's a 2001 Mercedes-Benz A190 Elegance...front wheel drive, automatic, with airconditioning, power windows and mirrors, and 35mpg. Oh yeah, the steering wheel is on the right side. It's small on the outside but has lots of room inside. Seats 4 adults comfortably, but room for only a couple of suitcases in the boot (hint, hint).

As you can see, Rhonda's pretty happy about this. Actually, I am too, I don't have to take her to the grocery store after work anymore. Or to pickup cat food. Or to... you get it. She'll be able to get around when I'm gone travelling as well. I'm really proud of her for being patient, I think it was worth the wait. I'll shutup and let her tell you what she thinks.

What a nice car for you to drive. How hard is it to get use to having the stearing wheel on the wrong side? I can see you driving Mom and Dad around in it. Everything here is great. Spring has sprung and the flowers are coming up and the birds are singing. It's wonderful. Take good care and chat to you later.
