Long story here... I had exams for my first two modules in Brewing and Distilling. I could have arranged to take them locally, but since I was going to take the week off to concentrate on the exams, and since I've been to Scotland three times and Rhonda had never been, I decided to take a week, take Rhonda and go to Scotland and take my exams up there. Whew. So we went. I took my exams in Edinburgh at the school. We stayed at Kinloss, at the RAF base, which was great, but I had to drive three and a half hours to the school, but only two days, Monday and Thursday. I think the exams went pretty well but I won't have my grades for a few weeks. Rhonda enjoyed seeing Scotland but we're glad to be home. I'm enjoying a short break and will start up the next two modules in a couple weeks. Victoria is coming for a visit the week after next with Liz and Aversa. And I'm ALL caught up on my web-logging! Hi to both of you and Im sure that you did well on your Exams,Rhonda said that vScotland was beautiful and Portugal looks wonderful a place to dream about. We are more excited every day about our Trip to see you guys.Hace a great visit with Vicki @ girls. Talk to you soon.

Hi kids. Could not open your tiff files so could not see the pretty pics I know must be there. Glad you had a good time. Sounds like you are having lots of company. Hope you won't be worn out by the time Jewel and I get there! HA!

Phil, Sharon Brix drove by this weekend, having just come in for her granddaughter's 3rd birthday, Christian's daughter. I have never seen his family but Sharon looked great. Thinner than I remembered her. She has not married but is living with a man (as she says, "in sin") and they seem to be very happy. Kyle is still not married and is in Los Angeles. Not much news. Tom was in and Marguerite was also in last week. It was good to see both of them. The yard looks gorgeous--wish I could do it justice with a camera. Love to you both. So looking forward to being there. MOM
