Whoa ! Look at these Christmas Eve lobsters! I can't wait to dig in! What? Another dozen in the sink? You mean I get seconds? Thirds? Leftover lobster sandwiches?
Unbelievable but true... eat your hearts out, this is Christmas in Nova Scotia.
The lovely Pamela (Rhonda's sister) is putting the finishing touches on the table while Dad cleans lobsters in the sink. We're minutes away from enjoying a family tradition on Christmas Eve.
We've had lots of snow, beer, presents and fun times. It's great to spend time with Rhonda's family and catch up. Christmas was a hoot, New Years spent at cousin Natalie's "Foggy Goggle" pub in Halifax - we got home in a blizzard that night around 5 am. AND Rhonda and I went to a hockey game (Halifax Mooses v. PEI Rockets) ! A great game that went into overtime, lots of fights and skating - PEI (Prince Edward Island) won with a great goal with less than a minute in the 4th period, sorry Mooses. [Yeah, I know, the plural of moose is "moose" but that's what they called them at the game.]
If you click on the photo you can make out my lobster in the lower right corner of the photo...

Things are pretty much same as usual in Halstock, few chilly days then few very wet n windy days......
